Rosemary May: A Success Story
/Since I began practicing Exercise Physiology and Energy Medicine three decades ago, I've had the pleasure of working with some remarkable people, from world champion athletes to celebrities, but one of my greatest success stories is that of Rosemary May, a woman in her late 60's who was struggling with chronic pain when we first met. As Rosemary describes below, her pain was so debilitating that she had become quite sedentary, giving up her youthful athleticism for the comfort of her home. The two of us worked together for several months through the summer of 1999 until she was healed. That winter, while atop one of my favorite ski slopes, I happened upon Rosemary. Overjoyed to see me, she kissed me on the cheek, and explained what a difference my intensive therapy made in her life; not only had she fully recovered, but she was skiing once more. Here's Rosemary in her own words.
September 30, 1999
Dear Reader,
I am 68 years old, and feel born again thanks to Glenn Streeter. In 1998, I was becoming very sedentary due to chronic pain after lumbar and cervical fusions. It was depressing and my lifestyle was severely impacted. In the summer of 1999, I started appointments with Glenn and he patiently work with me on movement, e.g., stretching, exercise, and massage. Three months later, I am working, with his help, on advanced equipment and weights. My chronic pain is gone. I have new energy and a positive outlook on life. Best of all, I'll be skiing this winter!
Thank you Glenn!
Sincerely,
Rosemary May
